The department has two sections namely Botany and Zoology which offer the

  • Overcoming constraints to groundnut production in Kenya.
  • New proposal in preparation Development rosset resistant and high
  • yielding groundnut varieties.
  • Algal Composition, distribution and successions in Lake Nakuru.
  • Periphytic diatoms from River Njoro.
  • The Ecological and Economic study of Stinging Nettle in Kenya
  • Biological Control of common weed, Oxalis Latifolia.
  • Studies on grey leaf spot disease of maize caused by Cercosporazac-mayalis in Western Kenya.
